Emma's Heat Alarm Campaign

About Emma's Heat Alarm Campaign

K9 Kilo was saved in St. Augustine Beach, FL, last year thanks to a Heat Alarm donated via this campaign! He was taking a break in the police vehicle when the A/C suddenly malfunctioned.

Thankfully, the Ace K9 Heat Alarm System notified his handler, who came to rescue the dog immediately. Without this equipment, K9 Kilo would have died in a tragic accident.

Emma, the 8-year-old daughter of K9s United Founder Debbie Johnson, is fascinated by Heat Alarms. Thanks to her passion, we raised more than $30,000 in 2020, allowing us to donate 25 lifesaving Heat Alarms to K9 Units across the USA. This summer, we're upping the ante with a goal of $75,000.

Even better, we have an entire agency lined up to receive the first 13 heat alarms. Each of the 13 K9 Units with the Indiana Dept. of Natural Resources. If we don’t help these hero K9s stay cool and safe on the job, no one will. It’s that simple.

YOU ARE THE COOLEST FOR KEEPING K9S COOL

These heat alarm systems save lives, but are very expensive at $3,500 each. K9s United have negotiated discounts as a non-profit to lower the cost to $2,295.50. The cost savings allow us to be efficient in helping as many K9s as possible.

These K9s are worth every penny we invest in them – they are fearless, loyal, courageous hero cops – every single one of them. The more K9s we can keep safe, the more they can catch bad guys and keep us safe in return.
